The bottom of each coaster is made up of a rubber like material its a good nonskid surface so the coaster should stay put even with a little jarring

They did absorb some moisture however if you get a lot of condensation theyre not going to be able to keep up a common problem with many coasters even those made of cork

They also came packaged very nicely and would make a great gift if you can resist keeping them for yourself i purchased this set of coasters at a promotional discount for evaluation purposes

I have looked for a nice set of coasters for my office conference table for a while now and although these coasters were on the more expensive price spectrum i believe with the way they look and the quality of the coasters the price is justified
