It has outlasted wood cutting boards that both warped and scratched plastic cutting boards with rubber grips or surface coatings that peel off and feels far more comforting to use than the glass cutting board that broke

It could be that the construction has changed somewhat since 2010

It does not have a groove around the edge which is why i came to amazon today to look at another cutting board i should note that we have an expanding collection and this the largest one we own does not get used every single day

If you look close you can see some knife marks in them and be careful they can warp if put in the bottom of the dish washer

Well they end up cracking and splitting in spots and that just seemed unsanitary

But it does have sparkles in the black as well but you cant see them in the online photo
