Can be used with sheet metal but is pretty finicky with the thinner materials as the fence curves in at the bottom not giving a flat surface to push on

Works great makes cutting much easier the base isnt very good material but i guess thats to keep the cost and weight down

The dewalt was twice as much when you figure in super coupons but at hf you have to pay for a one year warranty and they will not cover anything without a receipt in hand even when new
