Pros

Although the soundstage is not the widest it's enough too make room for the sound. No electrical noise compared to my bower's and wilkins p5. I really wish the cups were just a tad larger, just to give my ears some more room to breath.

They look pretty darn * too, not that it makes them sound better, but i do have to admit that they make my heart thump when i look at them. I feel like these are richer-sounding.

The denon mm400 has the same very clean treble and midrange, without any harshness and with an amazing amount of detail. My other set of cans are hifiman 400i's.

The build craftsmanship is outstanding. The wood grain is amazing. Lots of metal and nice pleather.

Cons

Without a functioning headband, these are completely unusable. The balance is off - the left ear is louder than the right ear.

At msrp of 399 usd, this headphone is overpriced for its build and sound quality. The sound has a weird synthetic attenuation to them that is quite distracting and un-natural sounding. Mids sound similarly unexciting and feel too recessed/hidden behin... Read More

The cd and bluray players in failing within the first year the headphones in sounding too bright with an overbearing bass

They are not what i was looking for and i didnt spend near the 400 asking price

Instead i found the sivga sv006s for less than 90

I would definitely recommend these cans for the price i got them at 349

Still excellent value if you can pick them up in the lt300 range like i did

They sound much better than the denon and are cheaper

Way more comfortable in comparison with the bw p7 and mdr1a

I have audiotechnica athm50s and sennheiser hd598s and these beat both of those by miles

So it came down to the oppo pm3s and the denon mm400s
