Only so call disadvantage is that the handle wont allow the pan to be placed in the oven

When any pan is used on high temperature usually well above recommended temperatures for nonstick coatings and left for later it becomes more difficult to clean

The most disappointing and puzzling thing is why the manufacturer put a coating on the handle that will tolerate only 200 degrees c 392 degrees f for only 10 minutes

The argument for that method is sound since it does essentially create a polymer coating but it is just too brittle for everyday use
