I don't steep long, but it was still warm after i finished my tea. May buy the bigger model for entertaining. It's perfect for 2-3 cups of tea, and the diffuser basket is fantastic in that it is extra deep and allows for lots of room for leaves to ste... Read More

The decanter is easy to clean. A cycle in the dishwasher cleans it fairly well.

The stainless steel infuser works great. It holds back even the smaller particles of the herb mixtures. Had to buy a second pot after accidentally knocking the pot off the table.

The strainer is perfect for looseleaf tea. No drip if you don't overfill, the spout is high enough. Well made and fits snuggly inside the pot.

My wife and i love using loose leaf tea and this has made it fun. Exactly as advertised.

Cons

The bolt of the lid comes off and falls in the teapot. While i was offered a refund, i was asked to take down my review. I just feel this would be unfair to future buyers.

The mesh filter works great for all types of tea including herbal

This is my only flaw with the teapot

Secondly the handle for the infuser tends to pop out fairly easy which can be inconvenient when washing

I needed something for the tiny rooibos and i wanted the infuser to be flush with the bottom

The holes of the infuser are very fine

The baskets mesh is fine and keeps leaves out of the tea

This is an especially nice little tea pot that comes with an infuser

The tealyra website does not seem to carry this small one anymore
