Pros

The usb cord runs under the headliner and down the left a pillar to fuse box; the voltage converter is tucked inside. Just be sure to measure yours.

Cons

If you live in a colder climate, this device only seems to work intermittently. This power supply fails when the temperatures get low. The voltage is too low to protect the battery properly.

The dashcam has developed an intermittent connection between it and the gps receiver module. At some point i'll wire up the micro unit i got, and see if i have the same issues.

Bad vendor/seller-- at least have a 14-day return window! Tried to return, but says not eligible for return. Then i find that this item is non-returnable.

Paired it with an aukey dash cam and a epauto 12v car addacircuit fuse tap adapter mini atm apm blade fuse holder

This should be a must for anyone getting a viofo a119 or any dash cam that uses a mini usb connection
