This is for lightweight fabric and will not work on anything heavier than a very thin cotton

It is basically the same one you would find at michaels but at about 13 the price which is about all its worth considering how cheaply made it is

This hoop works great for what i need and at this price i wont feel even a little bit cheated when the metal clamp finally breaks off and i have to replace it

Hoop was in good shape saw several reviews for different embroidery hopes noting missing screws or that the wood isnt smooth enough

It did take two pairs of hands to get it to close over the cloth i was using its too big for me to work alone
