The face plate that was there was old and corroded, but so were the screws holding it in place. The trim ring od is 4. It comes in chrome as well as the white.

The basket doesn't really catch much of the hair. Grime/soap also gets stuck inside as well as under which again, makes it hard to clean. I'm back to the old fashioned screens until someone comes up with an effective solution.
