I have the curt manufacturing securing strap even though it wasnt listed as required for this model

Since all of these accessories are needed for the bike rack to be fully effective they should have all been included in the purchase price

If you dont plan on using the security strap or your vehicle doesnt allow its use i would not recommend it due to the amount of movement
