Pros

This device works perfectly. It has a well written manual and works exactly as the manual says.

The water measurer is spot on. We have a flock of 10 hens and this is a great tool to use all the eggs we have. Used it on hard boiled, soft boiled and poached.

The eggs themselves were perfectly cooked all the way through. Didn't leak water like some have experienced. Tensions were high and there was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth to solve this cosmic mystery. But inept cooks need eggs too.

Cons

I'm convinced these units have a high rate of failure/low-quality. Hard to contact, stayed on hold for an hour and gave up. This unit is a do noy buy for me!

This is a high quality small appliance that has run flawlessly for years

It poaches hard boils 10 eggs soft boil and makes crepes

After a few years the onoff switch on the first one no longer worked so i just unplugged it to turn it off

Price

This is an awesome affordable gift as well

For me its well worth the price for the hard boiled eggs alone

Packaging/appearance

The only thing that was wrong was the box was so beat up but thankfully the egg cooker still worked

She did not care that the box was beat up because she was so excited to see this egg cooker

Competitiveness

This is far better than other egg makers

We needed another and i have always had great experiences with cuisinart appliances so we purchased one of theirs

Foolishly i initially replaced this with a competitor and couldn’t believe so much could go wrong

I have another brand at my second home it is not consistent in the cooking so the cuisinart rates higher
