Pros & Cons
Pros
It has pressure/volume sensitive control so you can ring loudly or quietly depending on the situation. No single ding, this thing gives out real rings that people hear. Wise choice using brass as many instruments are made of this metal.
Crane is the best bicycle bell for company out there because of their quality. Looks great on my bike, which has inlaid wood fenders, brooks leather saddle and hand grips. Looks nice on my black cruiser bike with tan leather handlebar grips.
This bell is top notch. Two thumbs up. The best bell is fantastic!

Jogger, stroller, and motorcyclist can all benefit from a bell. The bell tells pedestrians to move out of the way. It's also great for commuting in new york.
Cons
Sounds like an old telephone. It employs an inferior clamping mechanism. Why the hassle over a bad product every so often gets out the door?

I was concerned about two things the sound needed to be the oldfashioned traditional brnggggg brngggg that i remember from childhood years not the more common single ding that many bicycle bells do now

Second it needed to be adjustable enough to fit a larger circumference handlebar my wifes bike beach cruiser has large foam covers perhaps doubling the circumference of the entire handlebar area meaning a smaller sized clamp would not work

The brass rings so loudly that it drowns out the repeated metal strikes of that classic bicycle sound brrrtring brrrtring

The loud resonance of this metal might be overkill
