Just received this octobox and found the solid mounting shaft is too large in diameter to fit into the trihot shoe flashumbrella mount adapter bracket i ordered with it which was the triple hot shoe mount adapter flash light stand umbrella holder bracket swivel

Doesnt work well with strobes that you have to manually adjust power but if you can change the power remotely it would work great

I normally use an aluminum beauty dish with a grid but that is not always practical as it is big and the grid is very fragile

I did see a slight defect when i first opened the box and cowboy studio replaced it right away so they get 5 starts for customer service
