I see no problem with the build quality though i will have to see how durable they are long term
Im partially deaf and so i really need headphones which provide a good quality of sound and these are honestly some of the best ive used
1 sound quality but only if you download the drivers from the corsair website
The quality is excellent and when on voice comms i am clear to everyone else

For that price i think they are really worth it

That said i also used it for making video recordings and noticed a background buzz which was not replicated by other mics so its not ideal for that

However i would say that for the price of these you would likely be better off buying a headset like these and then a dedicated microphone if you intend to make recordings of anything especially as for a better microphone headset you might have to pay a fairly significant amount of money

Looking at the negative reviews it seems like the biggest detractor of the headset is the build quality but i personally did not initially have any problems with the style of the build

However after around 2 years of admittedly constant and prolonged use the headset did start falling apart a little

Second the microphone more or less went completely broken this seemed most likely to be a problem with the cable where again after constant use movement and fiddling it now made a constant audible crackling which even made calls a pain for anyone listening to me even movement made them crackle ridiculously loudly
