The design of the columbia men's watertight ii is both stylish and practical. Love jacket,it’s very lite which is great and is now my #1 rain jacket. One caveat at the end.

Its space-saving capabilities are a lifesaver during long hikes or when i'm on the move. It's lightweight and can easily bunch up into a backpack on-the-go.

The sleeves are nice and long. My only gripe is that the inside liner in the sleeves seems too long. This one fits a little tighter so keep that in mind when ordering.

This jacket is a true weatherproof essential. It breathes better than a vinyl rain jacket. Close to waterproof and better than water resistant. Worn as a layer over a fleece and down jacket.

The hood is roomy enough to comfortably accommodate a ball cap. It cinches up nicely. I wish it had a hood that stored away though.

Do yourself a favor and buy a raincoat from a reputable company. This is not waterproof, but maybe resistant at best.
