If you had a dome tent the wind would pass over the top and walls and the fiberglass poles would flex

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

For camping in winds above 20 mph id think twice about this tent 1518 mph steady wind is pushing it and if you get a 3540 mph gust during a storm quite possibly you may see a failure

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

We had steady winds of 1522 mph and the tent was straining to stay up then we had a storm pass over gusting winds up to 40 mph two fiberglass roof poles snapped and the tent on that side collapsed
