Pros

Red is not as bright, which is good but bright enough to see without overdoing it. I wish they has a more definitive pattern on the different switches so you could really feel the difference between the 2. The red light is fun to use stand alone or wi...  Read More

White light is impressively bright. White beam is excellent beyond 100 yrds with the halo effect giving a nice broader coverage. White led is extremely bright and perfect for illuminating specific areas.

Excellent nighttime tool. Great for preflight (white) and in cockpit (red) only down side is battery only lasts as long as described on their site. Similar-sized (but more expensive) px1r model rechargeable flashlight.

This light is very bright and has a long focus distance on its lens, so it is more suitable for outside use. For $20 i feel like it is a quality light for camping/travel/blackouts. The difference is startling!

Cons

The white led is already on the fritz. The light stays on only as i bang it. The red beam does not shine in a circle, also the red beam is not a solid color.

Too bad. Buyer beware. Firstly, the packaging claims 315 lumens—it is advertised here as 155.
