Im no seamstress but i had a couple different items to fix where string or elastic needed to be rethreaded sweatpants string that fell out and replacement elastic cord for the edge of a steering wheel cover the original one wasnt very strong and it snapped

Tried a suggestion i found online of using a safety pin to feed the cord through but it was taking a ridiculous amount of time and in the case of the really narrow opening on the steering wheel cover it was very hard on my fingers
