This is a must read if you are at all interested in the holocaust. The story is about 18 jews, and the love and bravery that enabled them to survive 18 months in an underground 4-foot-tall bunker during world war 2.

Clara's war ranks right up there with the best of them. It makes the reader go into the bunker with clara, her family, and the others that were hiding. Clara, tho is an excellent writer. God bless clara.

What these people went through is unimaginable. The family that cared for them deserves a medal for their bravery. Heartless murderers contrast sharply with the courage of the beck family.
