But the balls are pretty cool looking and they work ok

You have to over fill in order for they tray to completely fill but when it freezes all the ice is connected and a little hard to remove

I bought this as a giftand they loved it its makes the perfect size ice balls only wished it was 6 instead of 4

I watched the youtube instructional video and when i followed the directions on creating them and breaking off the excess ice i got rounded ice balls

I did not take the time to boil water several times to attempt to get clear ice cubesfor my use this was not necessary
