It is made from quality metal making it very sturdy and a joy to use
We are unhappy with the purchase and never used the item

The kitchen aid version has issues at the seals meat can back out of the plastic crown this one does not

There were reviews on here saying the coating on the metal started coming off but we have not had that problem
