Best locking mechanism is a little bit difficult to try to install properly but once you get it installed it really works very well at keeping your ammo boxes locked up for whatever storage you want to use them for ive installed two so far and i can tell you that the first one was a little tricky but the second one worked out better once i knew what i was doing and theyre almost impossible once you lock them up to get into and theyre almost impossible once you lock them up to get into

Had to slightly elongate latch hole in both cans

If you are concerned with someone being able to spin it off with the lock then put a tack weld on the nut and bolt

They can be a pain to install due the welded seam in the ammo boxes that runs down the center of the box and latch

It causes the lock pin to sit a little crooked

You will also need to drill a larger hole in the latch where the pin goes through if your ammo boxes come with the same size latch hole as mine did

The hole in the fat 50 is not the same diameter
