Thirdly there’s a bracket with all sorts of stickers and instructions in all caps and bold saying “this end up’. After emailing a picture and some info, the part was sent out the same day. Just scan the qr code with your phone.

The only negative is that it shipped without one of the two eyelet screws need for assembly. The latch is easiest to open with two hands, but you can do it with one by slipping a foot under the gate and lifting up while depressing the latch.

Cons

This outdoor style has a flimsy, picky latch. The latch is the reason i suggest you do not buy it. The gate then collapses off the hinge.

The locking mechanism on this is terribly subpar. The screws holding the parts together keep coming out so i have to tighten them every few weeks.

Would not buy from them again on principle. What a major hassle. Buyer beware esp.
