Bought it for my son he is happy with the way it is working out for him
I like the product its self but ive had times where it was difficult to attach to the vent and then take off the vent
It fits well in my kia soul with the recessed vents by the steering wheel which most of these holders do not

The price was great and the form is perfect

And my ac vents are higher enough that i dont have to look down to see the screen

I however have an iphone 6s in an otterbox case and this mount is just a bit too small it will not accommodate the phone unless i remove it from the case

The bottom legs dont rest on the dashboard so the unit bounces around a bit

The previous one i had you had to push in either side to grab the phone over time all 3 i bought for myself and family broke with that feature

The only thing is that the clips for the vent are not adjustable so for using on an older car the vents are very narrow and it does not work on that car

Because of the bottom sports on the energypal car mount i can prop my phone in it but the phone is not secure
