Once i figured out to configure everything i am very pleased
So the autocrop is amazing and the scan quality is really good
The scan quality was good but i noticed a slight blue cast to the resulting scans which was easily fixed in post processing

Ive had too many copiers scanners printers that have to be babied and coaxed into doing what they are supposed to do

If you have a mac you have to download the software off their website which is frankly pretty busted and almost looks like a phishing scam it wasnt

Also the files are saved in ascending numerical sequence of the date they are scanned

I was on the verge of returning it until i tried using vuescan as a driverui for the device

The standard canon drivers tried many versions both mac and windows 10 and software cause the scanner to lock up
