Installed this due to the water pump allowing water into the fresh tank causing it to overflow out the exterior fill port

Shurflo advised the valve could go on either the intake or discharge side of the pump but also agreed that these pumps generally push better than they pull thus the valve went on the outletdischarge side

Then when we had that hard freeze a couple of months ago there was some water left in it and it cracked open

Was concerned over reduction of water flow in rv application however didn’t seem to effect it at all
