I bought this to use on my tv that was mounted with a wall hugging mount yet the optical input on the tv caused the cable to come straight out of the back

While it fit the strain on the cable made it obvious that it would not last andor i would end up breaking the tv itself over time

The plug itself is no more than an inch or so in length so it doesnt materially add to cable length

I needed a right angle adapter to fit the tight space between my tv and the wall mount but this adapter was too thick so it still didnt fit
