I have only a mild and early case of bunions and so for me i could do with the silicone spacer to be larger as to separate my toes more however if you suffer from severe toe misalignment and find you have a moderate to bad case of bunions then this product could relieve symptoms and work wonders my opinion not a medical professional

The picture is a bit misleading as it makes the pads look as if they are more rigid than they actually are

The pad on the side is for protection against tight shoes the toe separator is not big or strong enough to keep big toe straight
