The handle is wooden so these are strictly handwash only and should never see the inside of a dishwasher

Also having a serrated edge along at least part of the blade is really helpful for cutting tougher steaks without smashing them and serrated knives are almost impossible to sharpen properly

On the other hand if you are used to using highend knives elsewhere like i am you will be pretty dissatisfied with the poor construction sharp handle edges and just plain poor quality of most steak knives
