Pros
Clear, crisp, and crisp bass. Stereo separation is great. Spacial imaging is so good that i've taken them off numerous times to check for outside sounds that were actually coming from them. Easy to enjoy.
Cons
When plugged into my roland drums the sound they produced was muddy to start. Most sounds are very tinny. I was supposed to be playing guitar all afternoon having a great time.
The padding is non-existent. I was totally fooled by all the positive reviews. They feel cheap and light in all the wrong ways.
Stay away from these. Not even close. There goes 20$ to the trash. Don't waist your money.
For our use of cueing and playback they would have been fine. Might be alright for a child, but definitely not for the dj controller that these were packaged with.
Only the hd-dj model (no longer available) rotate properly, and their cup covering rots away leaving little pleather flakes everywhere. If you tighten them, the bands stick out of the bottom and pinch your neck!

I decided to buy it and surprisingly the quality is very good

The price is great and i love the headphones for more than just studio use
For the price i dont think this can be beat

Actual clarity is decent hearing the details low perceived distortion but can sound mistakenly muffled sometimes because of the lower amplitude response in the midrange

This works in it’s favor at lower volume levels where the bass range would otherwise begin to sound weaker of course then details get drowned out by background noises

I was using a similarly priced set of sony headphones don’t know model and the drums sounded much worse than when on my drum amp and worse i could here the sound of my drum sticks hitting the pads through the drum sounds

My first pair i thought was from the cord being run over by my chair when recording but the other pairs just stopped in the middle of listening

These bad boys lasted 4 years
