If you find that the bolts which came with the rack are not going into the eyelets on the bike try pushing harder

However it didnt come with mounting hardware so i returned it amazon was great and sent me a free return label and refunded my payment immediately

In fact axioms website claims itll hold 150lbs

The other problem ive had is bikes that have a compact type frame the kind where the top tube is sloped down towards the seat tube and the seat stays have a real shallow angle theres no conveniant place to attach the front of the rack

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

With this rack the front mounting rods can go out a long ways they wont easily go lower i suppose they could be bent but you can find a device that mounts to the seat post that provides a place to attach these rods allowing the rack to be back and still be level

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

For shorter bicycles this may not fit in your bikes eyelets due to the aluminum attachment rods
