Cons

The original stubby antennas actually perform better than this triband. The retractable version is not so good imho.

Comet ht224 tri-band antennas were ordered. The lip is much too small to fit down inside the radio. This is in the seriously damage your transceiver range.

Though dependable and effective, they are, in my view, overrated and expensive. Big issue is the swr. After buying three different nagoya antennas and non of them with swr below 2.

The nagoya na771 144440 is a great alternative and the txrx coverage is very noticeble


I swapped the stock 34rubber duck34 antenna on my handheld with this antenna and i am at least picking up noaa much much better


The range and signalnoise ratio is better with this antenna than the stock antenna that came with my baofeng radio

    Used swr meter and found swr 205 to one accross the 2 meter band
