It might be considered though and should be better not be placed too close to a heat source or squeezed behind the couch for example

When installing such a product always keep in mind that in repeater mode it will only extend the signal to the limits of the signal it is catching placing it midway to the zone you need to cover might have better results

By using the side control switches physically located on the side of the repeater i turned it into acess point mode
