Pros

The anc9 case has a smoother texture and metal carabiner clip. It's not a huge difference, but if space is at a premium it's noticeable.

I really like that the battery goes directly into the headphones, instead of some awkward blocky thing on the cable itself.

Cons

Reviewer says he's been unable to find a replacement for his malfunctioned pad. The pad split open within months of mild use. What happens that gets me to so furiously hate this product?

Headphones are not as good as bose qc25s. At high volume, the bass distortion gets worse. Will return the headphones for a refund.

The sound is just unbearable. Sound quality in the absence of a battery to power the internal amp, is mediocre.

In my eyes this is a deal-breaker, i'm sad to say. Fool me once, shame on you.

Its hard to deny the convenience of built in wireless similar audio quality complete lack of hiss and touch controls on the sonys

Competitiveness

They work very well for a fraction of the cost of the more expensive options

So they do fine off your pc macbookpro right now or phone

Obviously compared to bose they fall short but they are a third of the price

Only ding on these is that the standard 3ft cable is really cheap
