There is only one sticker in english stating the rolling pin was made in canada

As for the sticker it came with the barcode printed on a paper sleeve which slid off the dowel so that issue seems to have been resolved

I never knew about these french rolling pins but if it helped to roll out pie crusts that were actual circles then i was all over it

I washed it let it dry overnight then lightly oiled it with canola oil never use mineral oil wiped it down and let it air for another 24 hours

Also the benefit of not being a traditional american grandmothers rolling pin is that there are no woodshavings getting into your dough when the old style pin gets older and the metal bearing in the middle piece starts getting loose and letting out pieces of wood
