Openings not big enough for my chicago cutlery steak knives

There were some residual wood shards at the edges of each of the slots which i had to clean out manually

Also this block claims to hold steak knives up to a 5inch blade length but i bought the dalstrong steak knives which are fantastic by the way and are advertised to have 5inch blades but they stick out of the bottom of the block and are just a touch too long to fit properly in this block
