Pros

Hp kitchen garbage disposal runs much more quietly than the badger 5 did. It is very quiet compared to thebadger 5, more powerful and has all stainless-steel grinding elements. Much quieter than the 5/8 hp.

Cons

The piece that connects to your sink is bad. Good disposal but the easy mount needs to go back to the drawing board or abandoned.

The noise level and garbage-disposing is fine but mine leaked right out of the box. It loosens up over time, causing the unit to vibrate like crazy, further loosening it up. Returning both and buying a badger from home depot.

There was a crack running through this piece due to a molding mistake. Contacted the manufacturer and was told to contact the amazon retailer.
