Stand is entirely metal so i put felt along that front lip to protect the front edge of the computer

I like it better than a more expensive stand i had purchased previously the rain design mstand laptop stand i paid 44

This stand the allsop redmond 30498 is more stable doesnt tip as easily has a wider lip to prevent the laptop from sliding off and was less expensive i paid 27

This works exactly as i had hoped it elevates the screen while keeping the keyboard relatively accessible and user friendly

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I wouldnt use in front of me since the keyboard is 4 or 5 inches from touching the desk at the lowest point when its fully tilted down and i couldnt rest my arms anywhere but it elevates my screen so im not looking down from the monitor that i have hooked to my laptop

I would have given you 5 stars if there were more holes in the pad

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Needed to get a wireless keyboard as typing on the laptop was okay but not comfortable for long term use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The obvious drawback to this design is the fact that the incline and height inherently adjust together
