If you pull on the draw string around the hood of the bag itll cinch up and create a mummy effect and keep you quite a bit warmer

It is not a feather light so be aware it takes some space it would not fit in the spot on my pack for sleeping bags so i had to strap it on

This bag feels very comfortable without feeling too hot inside but i cant say how well it would do in under 30 degree temperatures since we had no way to test that
