Short version of the review at the end if you don’t like reading lol, living in pa during the winter season that seems to last forever, it gets really dry! This humidifier really helps with that! A good purchase for arizona's arid climate. We have a wa... Read More
It is very easy to maintain and refill. It means, the more you have to refill the water tanks. It provides moist air to our whole house. I like the refillable bottles that minimize spillage.
Fan low (l), med (m), high (h). It is a bit noisy on the highest level, but level 1 isn't any more noisy than a refridgerator. On auto it's not bad but if you use f3 it's a bit loud.
Whether the front is brushed nickel or a tacky fake wood, it's an eyesore. Wicks aren’t cheap though.
Aprilaire humidification system. We live in snowy, cold western new york.

The bottom portion of the air plenum is too tall to support the top of the wick. The wick assembly is so cheaply made, the plastic is almost non existent. This aircare 1409 is made from the absolute lightest grade plastic imaginable.

The aircare is easy to use quiet and reasonably price
I called their company and the lady was very helpful with replacement tank at no cost
Shipping
These are not cheap and shipping takes a while
Packaging/appearance
Apparently when the holes are drilled small plastic shavings were left in the bottle
Water wouldn’t drain out of the containers very well till i did this
Be sure and rinse any plastic pieces out of the bottles before the first use to avoid ruining the valve caps
Competitiveness
I have a bit over 3000 sf of space to humidify
The new aircare wicks became rotted from this liquid
