Very few problems with the aeotec controller
It works great with the pi 3 which is what i had to switch to for it to work correctly
This library once initialized automatically communicates with the zstick

With the new openzwave integration in home assistant i was able to disconnect the devices from wink and reconnect them to the aeotec zstick
Competitiveness
Im looking forward to expanding our zwave network
I use this to upgrade the firmware on all my zwave devices
It is not really a plug and play solution like a zwave hub
I got this repeater to boost the weak signal of a schlage connect deadbolt

I would not recommend this with someone unfamiliar with computers as mine took quite a bit of troubleshooting to get set up

The device has to be removed from the usb slot in order to add a device and when you do that the mounting name sometimes changes in unraid

For example mine constantly changes from device 0 to 1 constantly

The zstick is plugged into the linux box that is running my c application

You have to unpair the device from your existing network first and pair with this stick in order to do the update
