The sides are not at all flexible and limit movement so its almost impossible to reinjure yourself

As other reviewers have noted the sides are much higher than shown in the photo they look like they come just over the top of the ankle but are actually about 8 tall

I have to dock off a star for the price and the additional smaller velcro strap which appears to serve no purpose
