Magnets keep these from being a total mess but if your kid is a thrower these have rounded edges

He enjoys playing with them and so do we but he does ultimately get frustrated as they only click together in certain ways on certain sides of the blocks due to the magnets inside

It makes it had for him to create exactly what he wants and placement becomes kind of random rather than intentional because they might not connect where he wants
