Pros & Cons

Pros

Bought this for my sigma 24-70 f2. No issue fitting the lense (55mm) this fits my olympus 12-40 mm 2. I use a lot of vintage lenses like in the picture (canon fd 50mm f/1. I think these lens covers are better quality than the old canon ones.

It's as durable as my sony one.

Cons

The four plastic hooks that prevent the movable pinchers from flying off are cheap and too flexible. It takes multiple tries to get it to latch, and once latched it knocks off quite easily.

The texture behind the logo is old-fashioned. It's the same texture that's on the super-cheap third-party caps. Do yourself a favor and buy the cheapest cap on here or ebay as this one is no better than the cheapest one out there.

The tolerances are so loose that the sides of the 77mm cap become mis-aligned when installing the cap. Overall, for the same price as an actual canon 58mm center-pinch cap, this is not as nice as the oem. Just get the nikon version.
