The only drawback is that the pump it comes with was quite loud. Placing the pump on a small piece of scotchbrite pad enabled me to significantly reduce any additional vibration to the body of the fountain.

The sound of this water is loud and clear! Just the right amount of sound, pleasant and relaxing. Soothing but not annoying.

I sm a college student and it is nice to hear it when i stufy. It is quite loud, but added some more rocks which quieted it down.

Easy to set up and continually clean out.

This is a piece of cheap plastic * that probably costs $10 at an asian knick knacks store. Just another contribution to the landfill. Customer service is also not a winner in my book.
